August 30, 2008

I knew this was an environment project so am not surprised to see these words painted on the building. Each time I visit it, it amazes me what they have added. I can hardly wait to see the whole mural.

Catching Up With Turtle Place Updates

This entry will aim to catch up with posting the progress of Turtle Place mural on the wall of a building in the old transit center parking lot which is to becoeme a meeting place again like it was originally intended long before Vancouver became an established city, in the days of Fort Vancouver. I have no idea what the finished mural will look like so mostly, this will be with little comment. The oldest posts will be at the bottom and don't forget, I started this story over on Turtle Place, my old blog.
The first photo will be the latest. (I will try to add updates rgularly now.)

A word from me. . .

This blog will continue another blog I started here but ran out of photo space. . . One day, the top of this blog will show the results of a summer of preparation in painting a wall for this future outdoor meeting place. I love innovative projects and this one will bring our history to use in the present day.

Although I didn't get much posted on the first site, I kept taking photos and will catch up adding them first. I can't remember what dates they were taken but that's not important as long as the photos show the progress. Hope you enjoy!
